Hans Christensen, a native of Denmark, has been fond of Frederiksborg Horses since he was a child growing up on the family farm on the
island of Lolland in Denmark. After years of running a German auto repair shop, Hans retired and he and his wife Rebecca are now
devoting their full attention to their love of horses. This has led Hans and Rebecca to import Frederiksborg mares and stallions
from Denmark to introduce this great breed to the United States. Hans and Rebecca are the official contact for the Frederiksborg
horse registry of North America.
Rebecca Christensen's love and knowledge of horses also started at an early age in Alamosa, Colorado where she worked part time for Hank Wiescamp. He taught her what to look for in a horse and basic form to function rules to follow. Coming from a working cowboy family background, her grandfather, Abel Rodriguez, worked on the Gage Ranch in Marathon, Texas. Her grandfather passed away peacefully on September 20, 2006 at the age of 103 years old. He will forever remain in our memories.
